Eye Shadow

Shades of Hue uses three shades of eyeshadow. A light skin toned, a dark skin toned and the third color used is chosen according to the iris of the eye. The dark skin toned is from the lashes to the crease. The light skin toned color is from the crease to the browbone. The darkest color goes in the crease, on top of the contour crayon. Be sure to blend from the outside of the eye towards the inside.

Eye Shadow Base

After foundation, apply eyeshadow base from the lashes to the brows. This product has a consistency that is unbelievable. With Anti-oxidants and sunscreen, it is the perfect barrier for those with sensitive eyes due to allergic reactions. This is the best way to protect the eye area from harmful UV rays. It does not sting or run into the eyes. This unique formulation feels like cream to the touch, yet smoothes on like a velvet-like powder.

Eye Liner

Eyeliner can be pencils, powdered shadows, and wet/dry shadows used with eyeliner sealers. Apply eyeliner three-quarters under the eye and one-quarter above the eye and blend into the eyelashes, with a pencil brush.

Eye Tracer

Shades of Hue uses eye tracers to give the eyes a more sultry look. Eye tracer is put on the inside rim of the eye before the lashes start, and on the inside lower rim of the eye. Curl Lashes and apply mascara from the base to the top of the lash, using the tip of the mascara wand. Then roll a cotton swab under the bottom lashes while the mascara is still wet to prevent dreaded tarantula eyes.

Using a stiff synthetic eyebrow brush, Shades of Hue uses brow powder to fill in any sparse areas in the brows. For a more finished brow, Shades of Hue will always fill in the top of the brow. Brush up and seal with a matching brow sealer.
